Valerio Betta was born in Nozza of Vestone (Brescia), where he lives and works in Via G. Matteotti 14th. He attended courses organized dall'AAB Brescia held by O. Di Prata and in 1973, attending the prof.G.Nino Ramorino, famous acquafortista known years before he learned the technique dell'acquaforte. From this meeting were open new spaces for his artistic sensibility.

General description:

.. In his paintings we see the artist committed and versatile, which has an essentially poetic vision of reality where the tragedies of today are not unknown but are sublimati in an optimistic dimension, which is made up of poetry, of balance, of thin "measure" artistic.
Thus the daily toil is not a curse but is seen as an essential part of life, so the art is yes aestheticism but not hedonism.
And the quest for expressive technique is not eclecticism but constant effort to give a message that it is always better conceived….
